Specializing in professional kitchens, restaurants and catering equipment, Stalgast invites you to The International Food Service and Hotel Equipment Trade Fair.
During the first day of the 3 day Fair, guests had the opportunity to see the wide range of products that Stalgast has to offer. The Stalgast display included two sections, located on two levels. The first section was divided into two sectors that offered:
Also, at the center of this section, the leading Italian producer OLIS cooking line was displayed. Included were grills, tilting pans, cooking ranges, fryers and many other appliances.
In the second section, at Kisialewski Hall, Stalgast presented a full range of UNOX convection-steam and convection ovens, as well as a wide selection of refrigeration equipment where “Janex” and “Piekarnia Szwajcarska”, among others, displayed their products. In cooperation with these two companies, Stalgast prepared a “Culinary Corner”, where all guests could taste delicious food.
As a culmination of the first day of events, Stalgast arranged a social gathering. As in past years, representatives from the board of directors presented awards to partners of Stalgast, during the reception.
On the last day of the trade fair, at Kisielewski Hall, Stalgast organized a presentation of culinary skills from students from the Stefan Rowecki School Complex No 1 of Zambrów. The presentation was held in conjunction with an educational program “Students Find their Masters” that was created by Stalgast and Carlos Gonzales – Stalgast’ PR chief. The program provides for one month of practice with masters of culinary art. The Director of this school thanked Stalgast for their continuing support and cooperation. Thanks to the opportunity to practice in famous restaurants, students are able to acquire new skills and become acquainted with up-to-date equipment and modern trends in gastronomy. Stalgast’ contribution in youth training is also an opportunity to meet and cook with famous chefs.
Young apprentices of culinary art were placed with the following chefs for a friendly competition:
The first team was represented by Łukasz Rakowski. Together with his master, they prepared Stewed sweetbread in red wine sauce with Zabaglione made of Polish bison grass served with turnip salad with raspberry dressing.
Małgorzata Jastrzębska and Milena Klimaszewska were teamed up with chef Szekeres from Zoltan restaurants, and prepared the popular Hungarian dish tenderloin with letcho.
The delicious desert marscarpone cake with balsamiko dressing and appetizer Capresse with balsamic sauce were prepared by the team consisting of Monika Konopka, Bernadetta Leśniewska and Krzysztof Podolak. Everything was under the watchful eye of Andrzej Bryk.
Next team – Milena Jabłońska, Maciej Kotowski and Andrzej Romaniuk presented an original dish named: Spherical mozzarella. Students were looking for inspiration in molecular cooking with Wojciesz Modest Amaro.
Stalgast was a winner of the Journalist and MTPolska prize for the most original and professional stand in the gastronomy equipment category. The board of directors received the prize during the gala event at Jan III Sobieski Hotel on March 23rd, 2007.
